To kick off Women’s Month, we have profiled a beautiful lady Nthatisi Moraloge who was born and bred in the city of Bloemfontein into a family of five. Nthati as she is known to her loved ones, attended Navalsig High School and then went on to the Central University of Technology in Bloemfontein. Thereafter, she had plans of moving out of Bloem but her parents were not very welcoming to the idea of her being away from home, but her ambitions and dreams to travel the world could not be met unless she moved. Changing her life for the better meant changing locations and reaching out to other opportunities that had been open to her.

She left Bloemfontein in 2005 to study her Postgrad degree at the Tshwane University of Technology and as soon as she completed her studies, she got a job as an administrator. She continued to move up the ranks as the talented and driven woman she is and eventually was afforded the opportunity to be deployed to China for 7 months to manage the VVIP and Protocol at the South African Pavilion during the 2010 World Expos.  This job entailed meeting various heads of states around the world, various African Kings, South African Politicians and Members of Parliament; taking them on the tour of the SA Pavilion.

Nthati recently entered the Mrs South Africa pageant and regards that as one thing that really moved her out of her comfort zone.  “I went up to being a semi-finalist which was a huge accomplishment for me. It was an amazing experience that took me outside my comfort zone and revealed yet another best version of myself”, the beautiful mother of two says. She was featured in interviews in Express and Mangaung news and was also interviewed on Lesedi FM. She says she gives all the Glory God for all her accomplishments and what she misses the most about Bloem is warmth of the people, respect amongst the people, the roses of the city and Naval Hill.
