Much loved duo, Shaxe Khumalo and Helen Namponya – popularly known as Ms Helen – are expected to return with The Shaxe & Helen Show on 31 March 2019 after a yearlong hiatus.
The pair confirmed the news with Ms Helen saying, “We’re excited to be back and to
once again have a platform to talk about the newsmakers, the successes, the drama
and the controversies of our province. It’s also quite exciting to think about the
performers that we’ll be closing each show with.”
The Shaxe & Helen Show will take the form of a 30 minute urban entertainment and social commentary show with Free State primary content and national and/or international content being secondary. The show will air via Facebook Live, a Facebook feature which allows for the broadcast of real-time video with
broadcasters able to engage their audiences during broadcasts.
Shaxe shared, “Our return is overdue. We debuted in April 2017 and took a bit of a break at the end of that year to pursue our individual interests but we have since regrouped and composed a solid team. We are definitely looking forward to those “no holds barred conversations we’re known for.”
