#BGR Foundation is incredibly proud of the Free State province for consistently producing the highest matric pass rate in South Africa. For the past few years, the Free State has remained on top of the game with an impressive pass rate of 88% in 2019, 85% in 2020, 86% in 2021 and 88.5 in 2022.
One of the highlights of the Free State’s achievement is the Motheo district, which has come out on top as the best-performing district in the country with a 90.8% pass rate. This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the students, teachers, and education officials in the district.
As an organization that focuses on empowering and uplifting the youth in the Free State, we are thrilled to see the positive impact that education is having in the province. We believe that education is the key to unlocking a brighter future for the youth and adults, and it is inspiring to see the Free State leading the way in this regard. We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the matriculants of the Free State province and the Motheo district in particular, for their outstanding achievement.
We would also like to extend our gratitude to the educators and officials who have worked tirelessly to ensure that these students have the best possible chance of success.
