One of our board members Kamogero Seekoei was once a journalist for the New Age newspaper and encountered the tragedy of the Mpedi children in her fifth year while working for the publication. Only two kids survived child abuse at the hands of Mxolisi Xulu, their father.

The book is primarily based on the true story of Sinazo Nciza, a 7-year-old girl from Bergman Square a residential settlement in Bloemfontein, and her siblings who had to live with a horrific secrete for years.

We are at stake in this country, with women and children dying in the hands of fellow humans. Sinazo’s life was cut short at age seven by his abusive father Xulu, he then amputated her body and buried it in the yard, and moved on with his life as if nothing had happened. Every time he punished the children he did not stop until he shed blood, he went as far as strangling them with a rope.

The book highlights an important aspect, the effects of abuse and its repercussions. Get your copy and discover what happened to Xulu after he had executed this kind of awful crime, at age forty-eight he had no recollection of his daughter`s death.

Do you perhaps have questions such as “What happed to Xulu?  Was he arrested? Where are the kids? Where is the mother? Answers for these questions can be found in the book, grab your copy at Takealot for R250, or use the link below: https://www.takealot.com/a-murder-concealed/PLID71233208
